Well, it has been many months since I last updated this journal, so here's a quick update on how I went with those resolutions from my last post:

1. All requests finished, now working on several more.

2. Have managed fairly consistent singing practise, though to be honest not every day for reasons that will become apparent around resolution No. 9

3. Complete absence of pink in my wardrobe achieved

4. Sadly, caffeine ingestion is up... and I'm glad I tell you, GLAD! Mwah ha ha ha ha!

5. Sleeping pattern is normalised... in a manner of speaking. I'm more sleep deprived than ever, but at least the sleep I get happens on a regular basis (again for reasons that will become apparent)

6. Um, no fancy cooking happening. *sigh*

7. More chocolate consumed, moderately more red wine too, but still working on the search for a sweetener for my coffee. Honey's working well for the tea though.

8. Er, no flu shot. Bad Fortune! Naughty! On the other hand I've been very, very careful with my health this season and so far I've managed to stay mostly healthy. (Miracle!)

9. And here's some real news. For the past few months I've held a steady, paying job. Go me. I hate my job with a fiery, white hot passion that sears my soul.... but it's a paycheck, and it pays well. My horrible job (manning a phone in an outbound call centre) means that I sleep little, am too tired elsewise and emotionally drained from the general petty, spitefulness of humanity for much creativity, and have little to no time for anything on any day that I have to work due to the fact that it's so damn far from my house. Most of the days in my week are thus a complete write-off, and at least one more day has to be spent adjusting to the bi-weekly shift change. Still, I'm painting whenever I can, singing at every opportunity, and otherwise keeping it together.

10. *sigh* Needless to say, no partying.

Though I've said it before to several people, I'll say it again here; my apologies to any and all that I've been neglecting (that includes my watch list). Life is frustrating in the extreme right now, and rest assured the people that have found themselves with so little of my time in fact occupy most of my attention. Love to all!
